Uninstalling ModeCheck

Ophir-Spiricon ModeCheck Installation Cleanup Instructions

Sometimes ModeCheck will not completely uninstall from a computer and needs

to be manually removed from the computer. Below are instructions for

completely uninstalling ModeCheck from a computer

ModeCheck Installation Cleanup Instructions

1. Delete the following program folders and all their contents if they exist.

< SYSTEMDRIVE>\Program Files\Spiricon\ModeCheck\

<SYSTEMDRIVE>\Program Files\Spiricon\Console Service\

2. Delete the following registry keys

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ModeCheck]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spiricon\ModeCheck]

3. Enable the "Show hidden file and folders" option in Windows Explorer

4. Delete the following folders the following locations

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\IsolatedStorage

C:\ProgramData\Spiricon\ModeCheck

5. Install and run the Microsoft tool for fixing issues that block programs from being installed or

removed by following the below link.

7. Reboot the computer
